Welcome to our Home Page
Southern Region embraces a large area of the south of England roughly from Lyme Regis in the west to Bognor Regis in the east, including the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands, with Swindon, Newbury and Reading forming the northern boundary. It includes the counties of Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and parts of Berkshire and West Sussex but is more accurately defined by Postcode and includes the following:- BA(12-13, 20-22), BH(all), DT(all), GU(9-14, 30-47), GY(all), JE(all), PO(all), RG(7, 12-29), SN(9-10), SO(all), SP(all).
There are about 850 members of the Royal Photographic Society living in the Region, many of whom regularly attend the meetings listed on the Programme page. These meetings are also popular with members from other regions and with photographers who have not yet joined the Society ( the Membership Secretary now to do so!) and who are always welcome.COPYRIGHT NOTICE
